Our Story
Unique Risk Management and Insurance Services was founded in 2007 to give contractors and trades a different kind of insurance relationship, one built on understanding the work, not just placing a policy. Founder and President Scott Henricks brings more than 20 years in the insurance industry to every account, with deep carrier relationships built specifically around contractor risk.
Who We Serve
We work with contractors and tradespeople ranging from single-crew operations to businesses with revenue up to $75 million, specializing in Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability, the coverages that most directly affect a contractor’s ability to bid, win, and keep working.
How We Work
We’re not in the business of just placing policies and moving on. Our job is to actively manage your risk program year over year, reviewing your Experience Modification Rating annually, catching worksheet errors before they cost you, and advocating on open claims so a bad year doesn’t follow you for three. That’s the difference between an insurance salesperson and a risk management advisor, and it’s the relationship we build with every client.
